GIL HIBBEN Gil began making knives part-time after his discharge from the Navy in 1956. He sold his first bowie knife for $45 and that sparked his long and famous career as a professional knife maker. Known for his role in providing the specialty knives for Rambo, Star Trek and the Expendables, Gil’s knives show up everywhere. His is, without doubt, the most prolific knife maker of the last 60 years.
